Position Overview
A dedicated imaging center in Tampa, FL is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to cover diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI interpretation. The center performs approximately 80–100 screening mammograms and 15–20 diagnostic cases per day with 3D tomosynthesis and CAD-assisted technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography with 3D tomosynthesis
- Perform and interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI studies
- Conduct image-guided breast biopsies (stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided)
- Communicate results directly to patients and referring physicians
- Participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer tumor boards
Requirements
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR)
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging required
- Active Florida medical license or willingness to obtain
- Experience with Hologic 3D tomosynthesis systems preferred
- Strong communication skills for direct patient interaction
