Position Overview
A facility in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for pulmonary and critical care coverage. The role involves ICU rounding, ventilator management, and pulmonary clinic support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ICU patients with pulmonary and critical care needs
- Perform ventilator management and weaning protocols
- Place arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes
- Round with the critical care attending and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Support outpatient pulmonary clinic as needed
Requirements
- Active ACNP or AGACNP certification
- Active Pennsylvania APRN license or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of ICU NP experience
- Proficiency with ventilator management
- BLS and ACLS certifications current
