Position Overview
A gastroenterology practice in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for outpatient GI clinic coverage. The role involves managing patients with chronic GI conditions, pre- and post-procedure visits, and IBD management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage outpatient GI clinic visits and follow-ups
- Conduct pre- and post-endoscopy patient assessments
- Manage IBD, IBS, GERD, and hepatology patients
- Order and interpret lab studies and diagnostic imaging
- Coordinate biologic therapy and infusion management
Requirements
- Active FNP or AGNP certification
- Active Arizona APRN license or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of GI or internal medicine NP experience
- Experience with biologic therapies preferred
- BLS certification current
