Position Overview
A cardiology group in Reno, NV is seeking a Physician Assistant for outpatient and inpatient cardiology coverage. The role involves clinic visits, hospital rounding, and pre/post-procedural management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient cardiology clinic visits
- Round on inpatient cardiology patients
- Manage pre-procedural and post-procedural care
- Order and interpret cardiac diagnostics including ECGs and echocardiograms
- Coordinate care with interventional and electrophysiology teams
Requirements
- Active PA-C certification (NCCPA)
- Active Nevada PA license or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of cardiology PA experience
- Experience with cardiac catheterization lab workflow preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications current
