Position Overview
A clinic in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for outpatient primary care coverage. The position involves 18–22 patients per day with a diverse patient population across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages
- Manage chronic conditions and perform preventive care assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications and coordinate specialist referrals
- Document encounters and maintain quality metrics
Requirements
- Active FNP or AGNP certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Active Nebraska APRN license or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of primary care NP experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- DEA license and current BLS certification
