Position Overview
A health center in Wichita, KS is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for outpatient primary care coverage. The clinic serves a diverse patient population with 18–22 patients per day, supported by an integrated care team of MAs, RNs, behavioral health counselors, and care coordinators.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for patients of all ages
- Manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and mental health comorbidities
- Perform office-based procedures such as joint injections, skin biopsies, and wound care
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies and coordinate specialist referrals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care programs
Requirements
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Active Kansas medical license or IMLC eligibility
- Experience in community health or underserved settings preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- DEA license and current BLS certification
