Position Overview
A regional medical center in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a full-scope CRNA to join a collaborative anesthesia care team. The facility covers a diverse surgical case mix including general, orthopedic, OB, neurosurgery, and trauma cases with 15 OR suites and 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope anesthesia services in a care team model under physician supervision
- Manage complex cases including trauma, emergency C-sections, and neurosurgery
- Perform arterial lines, central lines, and advanced airway management
- Administer labor epidurals and spinal anesthesia for the OB service
- Participate in call rotation for after-hours surgical and OB emergencies
Requirements
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Active Michigan APRN license or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based CRNA experience
- OB anesthesia experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications current
