Position Overview
A high-volume facility in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist to provide diagnostic and light interventional coverage. The position involves approximately 200+ reads per day across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-ray modalities with PACS-integrated workflow and on-site support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
- Perform light interventional procedures including biopsies, drainages, and line placements
- Collaborate with ER physicians, surgeons, and referring clinicians on urgent findings
- Participate in tumor board conferences and multidisciplinary case reviews
- Maintain turnaround times within facility benchmarks
Requirements
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR)
- Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology preferred
- Minimum 2 years of post-residency experience
- Proficiency with PowerScribe and major PACS systems
